EMBASSY OF TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO CELEBRATES 45TH ANNIVERSARY OF INDEPENDENCE WITH T& T WEEK IN WASHINGTON DC
Washington DC: From August 24-31st, 2007, the Embassy of Trinidad and Tobago will celebrate the 45th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago with “T&T Week” in Washington DC.
“T&T Week” This annual observance brings together a diverse group of participants. The Cultural Evening is the premier event in the year when nationals of Trinidad and Tobago who reside in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area and other parts of the United States are provided an opportunity to interface with Embassy officials. The occasion however, is also seized to promote the country as an ideal investment location and attractive tourism destination. Specially invited guests include senior officials of the United States administration, Members of Congress and their Chiefs of Staff, representatives of international and regional institutions, members of the diplomatic community, the business community, advocacy and special interest groups as well as the media, among others.

Screening of the Feature-length Documentary “Calypso Dreams” produced and directed by Geoffrey Francis Dunn, Ph.D.
